Jill's Plant-Based Thanksgiving Dinner 2018

Jill's Plant-Based Thanksgiving Dinner 2018

This cookbook is for the home chef who wants to or must prepare an entire plant-based Thanksgiving meal on their own. All of the recipes are oil-free except one, Jill’s Trusty Pie Crust. (There’s no such thing as a fat-free flaky pie crust. Trust me.) Anyhoo.

The holiday menu is the actual meal I serve my own family. Because it takes me three days to prepare it, I divided this book into three sections. At the start of each section, I’ve written out a thorough time-saving, energy-saving to-do list called Play by Play. After you print out the recipes and Play by Play pages, you’re left with shopping for what you need. In case you’re wondering, I did not include a shopping list because every home chef's needs are different. Plus my brain was toast after meticulously writing out three days of to-dos, essentially cooking the whole meal and setting up the service areas in my head. Honestly, I feel like I’ve cooked the whole thing and it’s all behind me.

One more thing, I’ve included suggestions for heat and eat meals to allow your family to fend for themselves while you’re working and when you’re not. You’re welcome.

All right, get cracking! Download this PDF. Read through all the recipes, make your grocery list, enlist or pay someone to wash, dry, and wipe down counters as you work, pull out and wash off all of the holiday bakeware, dining ware, linens, trivets, hot pads, clean out the fridge, and make pantry space for the holiday ingredients. You're going to the rock this holiday, my friend!
